Blog questions!

Blog Questions:

Greenford news story:

A man was taken to major trauma centre  after a road accident at Oldfield lane, Greenford.

National news story:

Madeline Mc Can's search party has begun once again due to suspitions from a suspect to be questioned later.

London news story:

London house prices rise by 25% since 1987 pushing the average up to £400,000, the gap between London and the rest of the UK is £100,000.

Sports news story:

Suarez, who has four years remaining on his Liverpool contract, is serving four months ban due to biting Italy's Georgio Chielillni.

Funny news story:

Lady has baby outside primark in Birmingham, on-lookers give money and presents to the celebration.

Greenford news story: We chose this story because it was very close to Greenford high school and it's very depressing for the community as it happened to someone in our community and how severe it was.

National news story: I chose this for the national story because Madeleine Mc Can affected the country a lot and  everyone was worried that search party's would not find her so it's a relief that the search party is starting again so it gives her family and the nation hope that she might be found.

London news story: I chose this story because it will affect many people trying to get a job in London and get a house. Also it would affect our a community as people buy house all the time around London. The gap between London and the rest of the country is a huge and horrific sum and many people would not be able to pay it.

Sports news story: I chose this as my sports story because Suarez has bit people in a match three times, Fifa think that it is not acceptable so they banned him for a long time ( four months.) This would affect him as is team might lose some games as he is a very good asset to Liverpool.

Funny news story: I chose this story as it is strange that someone gave birth outside Primark and it is funny for that to happen to someone. I also think it is strange that on lookers gave presents to the lady as they do not know her.

Firstly in my broadcast I said the National story first because the missing of Madeleine Mc Can was the most important story out of all of them as it affected the country a lot and everyone would be relieved that police have started the investigation again. Secondly I said the Suarez story because it is important to Liverpool supporters and many people think it is disgraceful that he has done it again. After that I said the London story because it is important to us and should be told so that many people know if they want to buy a house in London it is going to cost more than buying a house in a different part of the country. Then I chose the funny story so people do not get to depressed and since the news is aimed at teenagers  and young adults they don't get bored and switch to a different channel. I then said the Greenford news so the teenagers know what is happening in their area.

We made sure that the script was the right length by reading all the article and picking out the parts that stay in the sixty seconds and appeal to the young audience.

We made sure that each story was clear by telling the audience the heading first from the article so they know what we are talking about before we went into more detail.

We made sure that the broadcast was professional by using a set up (chair and table). Also we made it professional by not exceeding the limit of sixty seconds and try to be clear and slow so the person watching it would find it easy to listen to.

My role in the group was broadcaster so I had to be filmed saying the information and I had to read the lines that the journalist made for the news show.

I think that my group worked at a four as everyone contributed to the script to make it professional.

If I had done it again I would have broadcast it more slowly and clear as I got nervous when looking at the camera.
