The programme Sky News is broadcast on the channel Sky News HD and Sky News. Sky News is on 24/7 however the news bulletin is on at every hour. The presenter for 4pm is Gamal Fahnbulleh. Since 2011 the recorded viewing figures for Sky News is 9.28 million.Sky news has won the international Emmy award for news in 2013 and they won the BAFTA News Award in 2012.
The target Audience for Sky News is approximately 50% male and 50% female as it is not targeted at a gender however the age range is from about 20 to 60 as there is many discussions that the majority of the younger population would not be interested in. Also Sky News is targeted to people with a profession or interest in the news or current affairs.

4.) Stand Up And Be Counted campaign by Sky News to get the young people of the UK to be interested in politics and to vote after a survey showed that only 8% of young people thought they were fully engaged with politics.
5.) Violent inmate Charles Bronson given another 2 years in prison after attacking a prison governor, He head locked the prison Governor Which left the Governor with cuts.
6.) Fail suicide bomber caught after car bomb explosion, killing 4 people
I think that the editors put the stories in that order because the story is a common interest of the public so that they are interested in the news and want to watch the rest if the news.

1.) Ashya King's family in custody.
2.) Child abuse, Rotherham Scandal. Home secretary answering questions about the child abuse and discussion in parliament.
3.) China war on terror Islamic terrorists going into China.
I think that the editors put it in this order as the Ashya story is from the UK and most of the UK public would want to know what is happening in their own country first.

1.) Journalist killed by Islamic Extremists.
2.) Ashya's family angry as Ashya's dad accuses the hospital of trying to kill Ashya and that he told the hospital he was taking Ashya.
3.) Emergency Meeting with the Prime Minister as Islamic Extremists threaten to kill British Journalist.
I think that the editors put the stories in that order as the first story was big breaking news and the public should know about it first.
